A digital gallery!
Like I mentioned in my last post, we created a digital portfolio and had a link to a digital gallery! The gallery is basically everything that’s on the main digital portfolio, but it adds a little more of a 3-D virtual experience! We used a site called Artsteps to create these gallery’s. You could either choose a default gallery to start, build your own, or buy one that’s already been made! Buying them is a little on the spendy side, but you get a unique look that not everyone else will have in the class. I chose to buy one and went with a smaller more affordable layout! Once you get your empty gallery it was time to add content. This was quite frustrating at times due to the site being glitchy often and even sometimes crashing. Luckily it has an autosave but it can still be very stressful. It took some time to get the hang of it but once I did I was able to set it up in a breeze! It was kind of cool to see my work in a gallery type environment even if it was only virtual!
